Stage 9, a soundstage on the iconic Radford Studio Center lot in Studio City, was the longtime home to Seinfeld. More recently, the stage hosted a season of Curb Your Enthusiasm and nine seasons of Last Man Standing.
For the second weekend this month (MAY), the legendary soundstage welcomed dozens of participants in ManifestWorks, a Los Angeles-based non-profit that provides those impacted by foster care, incarceration, and homelessness with job training, placement and support for careers in Hollywood. Participants receive extensive hands-on lighting and grip training from industry professionals.
The training was provided by The MBS Group’s Illumination Program in partnership with and funded by the ‘Changing Lenses’ initiative—a pledge launched at Television City by Hackman Capital Partners to promote opportunities that increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in the entertainment industry. Like Television City, Radford Studio Center is owned by an affiliate of Hackman Capital Partners and operated by The MBS Group.
