A Cultural Landmark.
A $1.25 Billion Transformation Plan.

Formerly owned by the CBS Corporation, Television City is a cultural landmark and one of the industry’s most iconic television studios.

Since 1952, the lot has been home to many beloved CBS programs, including The Carol Burnett Show, The Ed Sullivan Show, Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, Good Times, All in the Family and currently The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Price Is Right, “Dancing With the Stars,” “American Idol” and “Real Time With Bill Mahr.”

The MBS Group and Hackman Capital Partners, its parent company, are embracing the studio’s legacy with a $1.25 billion renovation plan, dubbed TVC 2050, that will modernize the facilities, create thousands of entertainment jobs in Los Angeles and preserve the studio’s status as a premiere filming location.

The new plan embraces architect William Pereira’s original vision, which focused on flexibility and adaptability and called for the eventual development of dozens of stages and multi‐story office towers. The TVC 2050 plan builds upon Pereira’s futuristic vision, allowing the studio to accommodate evolving technologies and industry demands.

TVC 2050 not only ensures the studio will continue to attract top television, film, and new media makers, it will generate significant economic and community benefits.
